My Thoughts: An enjoyable book that managed to be both easy to read yet deal with some difficult topics at the same time. A book that reminds us that our past does not need to define us and in fact, can be used to shape our character for the better if we allow God to use it to refine us.

Love's ability to describe both scenery and the majestic resort transports you back in time. Often when I read historical books it makes me thankful that I didn't live back then, but this book almost made me wish I could've been there. Almost :)
